Joseph (JB) Bensmihen was born in Montreal in 1969, the child of Moroccan-Jewish immigrants. Diagnosed with spastic cerebral palsy, Bensmihen was not expected to walk. Years later he would become the first Canadian student with disabilities to be mainstreamed in a public school.
Come join us as we hear his story and recognize February as Jewish Disability Month.
