Jewish Family Service of Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren Counties is offering a Job Seekers Success Group for active job seekers who are unemployed, underemployed or seeking a career change. The next group will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at JFS, 150-A West High Street, Somerville, NJ.
The topic for this session is “Hit a HOMER in Interviews” presented by John Hadley, Career Search Counselor. Have you ever gone into a job interview, and been thrown off by the questions asked, found yourself on the defensive, or just run out of time and realized afterwards what you should have asked / said / done. While you can’t predict everything that will happen in a particular interview, the better you understand the natural structure and dynamic of the interview process, the more prepared you will be to do an outstanding job and land the offer. Join us as John Hadley (www.JHACareers.com) shows us his HOMER template for the interview process that will help you hit a home run and slide into that new opportunity.
John has coached 100’s of job seekers 1-on-1, and is sought after to speak on career search and marketing topics. He teaches professionals who are frustrated with their job search, strategies and skills to tap into the 'hidden' job market and land the job and pay they deserve. He also works with executives who want to be recognized as influential leaders. His free Career Tips email newsletter is read each month by 9,500 subscribers; check it out at www.JHACareers.com/Newsletter.htm.
This group is offered free of charge and is open to the entire community. Funding for this program is provided by grants from The Arnold A. Schwartz Foundation, United Way of Hunterdon County and Magyar Bank.
