Evelyn Rauch, a local resident and interior designer and now author will be discussing her book, "Surviving Steffi” and how she came to write this very personal story. She wrote this book as a tribute to her mother and grandmother and the 6 million Jews that died during the Holocaust and those that survived and struggled to go on living. It is a story of love, conflict, tragedy and ultimate forgiveness. Some people may not identify with the Holocaust but many children have wondered why their relationships are strained. Evelyn’s book takes the reader on a sacred journey of discovery that any son or daughter would benefit from. If you have ever lost a love one to a tragic event this story will touch you and help you to take a second look at your own relationships. Books will be available for purchase; all proceeds will be donated to charity.
