JFS Job Seekers Success Group

7:00PM - 9:00PM

Jewish Family Service of Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren Counties is offering a Job Seekers Success Group for active job seekers who are unemployed, underemployed or seeking a career change.  The next group will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. via Zoom. The topic for this session is   “Success Stories: The Backbone of your Interview Success" presented by Paul Cecala, Coach, Trainer, Author, and Career Development Facilitator.

This interactive workshop provides an opportunity to learn the skill of telling your success stories. Standing out from the crowd is essential in a job search. The best way to do that is showcasing your accomplishments through compelling stories. They highlight specific achievements and skills and demonstrate your value. They help connect with hiring managers on a personal level providing insight into your work ethic and values. Incorporating accomplishment stories into your resume, cover letter, networking conversations, interview answers, and even your annual performance review is a powerful way to differentiate yourself from other candidates and co-workers.

This group is offered free of charge and are open to the entire community. Upcoming Job Seekers Success Groups will be held on 3/4/26, 9/9/26 and 11/4/26.  Funding for these programs are provided by a grant from The Arnold A. Schwartz Foundation. Registration is required to receive the Zoom invitation and to be admitted to the group.
