Alan Zweibel, is a renowned comedy writer, will speak about his book Laugh Lines – My Life Helping Funny People Be Funnier on Sunday May 15th at noon at the FJCC, located at 5 Sergeantsville Road in Flemington NJ. Five-time Emmy Award winner, Alan Zweibel is an original Saturday Night Live writer who created classic material for Gilda Radner, John Belushi, and all the Not Ready for Primetime Players. He co-created It’s Garry Shandling’s Show and wrote for the TV production Curb Your Enthusiasm. Actor Steve Martin notes “Alan Zweibel is legendary among us comedians. He is the man who delivers comedy with emotional clout that makes him respected and revered.” Mr. Zweibel is the author of 11 books, including the Thurber Prize winning novel, The Other Shulman. He collaborated with Billy Crystal on the Tony Award-winning Broadway play 700 Sundays, and most recently, the feature film Here Today, which he co-wrote and produced with Crystal (who also directs and stars with Tiffany Haddish
