The Jewish Federation of West-Central New Jersey is your key to the Jewish community. We serve the community of Somerset, Hunterdon & Warren Counties regardless of affiliation. Our annual community campaign supports local agencies and programming here at home, in Israel and 70 countries around the world. The Jewish Federation is your way to be part of something greater than yourself and improve the lives of many people around the globe.
OUR MISSION
The mission of the Jewish Federation of West-Central New Jersey is to invest in Jewish life by building, supporting, and safeguarding Jewish communities locally, in Israel, and around the world, now and forever.
STATEMENT OF NONPROFIT STATUS
The Jewish Federation of West-Central New Jersey is a nondenominational 501(c)3 nonprofit offering services to individuals locally and around the world without regard to faith. All services are open and accessible to the entire community. The IRS does not consider JFedWCNJ to be a religious organization.
OUR GOVERNANCE
A Board of Directors governs our Federation. Elected each year at our Annual Meeting, these volunteers include many of our most active supporters and leaders in our community.
BEYOND FUNDRAISING
While our main mission is to raise funds for the community's most pressing needs, we offer educational and social events, business networking opportunities, and special programs to build and strengthen our community.
